Electrolysis - permanent hair removal
ELECTRIC HAIR REMOVAL OR ELECTROLYSIS HAIR REMOVAL
What is this ?
It is a technique whose aim is to destroy the cells responsible for hair regrowth using a filament delivering a low-intensity electric current.
How does it work?
The technique involves sliding a fine needle through the hair follicle to the bulb, transmitting a destructive electric current. The most commonly used instrument is a high-frequency electrical device connected to a handpiece or pen on which the needle is placed.
Who is this for?
For everyone, men, women, white to black skin. The advantage of this technique compared to laser is that there is no obligation regarding the color or thickness of the hair to be treated.
How long does the treatment last?
It all depends on whether it is a complement to laser hair removal (to destroy hairs that have resisted the treatment) or an entire area that is treated only with electrolysis. In the latter case, the treatment will last 12 to 18 months, depending on the hair cycle of the treated area.
How long is a session?
Depending on the area to be treated and whether it is a finishing treatment (or maintenance) or a full area treatment, the session can last from 10 minutes to 2 hours.
Sun exposure remains prohibited in all cases, just 48 hours before and after the session
